iplicit shortlisted for Accounting Excellence Software Awards 2020

November 2020, London.

Relative new entrant to the cloud-accounting software market, iplicit, has made it through to the final 5 for AccountingWeb’s Accounting Excellence Awards.

Comparing the UK’s leading Accounting Software providers based on a survey of over 4,000 organisations, iplicit has been shortlisted in the category for ‘Best Mid-market & Enterprise Accounting Software’. Accounts IQ, Pegasus Opera 3, Sage 50cloud accounts and Xledger are the co-finalists competing for this year’s top spot.

Commenting on this recognition, Mike Goldsmith, Editorial Director, SIFT notes ‘iplicit only started marketing its program at the beginning of 2019, so making it through to the 2020 [Finals] is a remarkable achievement’

iplicit CEO, Rob Steele, adds ‘When designing the iplicit’s true-cloud architecture, we set out to create a game-changer. In a similar vein to the way we brought a Windows product to DOS-based market, 25 years ago, in the shape of Exchequer Software, our goal was for iplicit to pioneer a way forward for mid-market organisations. The difference now though is the rate of adoption is unrecognisable; cloud solutions, coupled with elegant migration software, enable entire Finance Teams to transition in a matter of days rather than months.

iplicit CTO, Ian Andrews concludes ‘Since our launch in 2019, over 300 organisations have joined the iplicit platform and the requirement for remote working is accelerating the need for cloud-accounting for all organisations, irrespective of sector. We are very excited to have been recognised so quickly, by industry experts and customers alike’.

About Accounting Excellence Software Awards 2020

Every year, the Accounting Excellence Software Awards celebrates the very best in accounting technology. Voted for by the UK public in what is now proudly the UK’s biggest survey of accounting software, independent voting across multiple criteria means that the Software Awards are valued by both the audience and the winners alike.

This year’s Accounting Excellence Awards Night will take place as a virtual celebration, the winners will be announced via a live cast event taking place on 2nd December.

How it all works

iplicit’s architecture is quite special; it’s true cloud and only in the browser, but it looks and feels like a desktop application. No layer upon layer of tabs opening and probably the most intuitive navigation that you will find in the marketplace today. Take a look for yourself.
