Developing and implementing business-critical software applications, especially Finance and ERP solutions, for the last 27 years, Ian combines an in-depth technical knowledge and expertise with a strong understanding of business and operational needs across a wide range of private, public and third-sector organisations.

Mike Eggington

His ability to articulate a compelling vision that connects short and long-term business goals before translating them into key technical drivers, has delivered disruptive and market-leading software solutions across the financial services, retail and distribution industries.
Mike joined iplicit from AXA UK, where he led an Engineering community of over 450 engineers across the UK and Europe.

Extensive experience and expertise in accounting solutions, having worked in the finance software industry for the past 20 years. Sam’s passion lies in implementing efficient systems and operational processes that enable businesses to achieve their strategic objectives. Initially starting at Access Accounts, Sam moved to Exchequer Software where she enjoyed a successful 8-year career specialising in training, project management, software implementation and client relations.

Paul Sparkes

A respected and well-known software industry professional having worked in the accounting and business software sector for past 30 years. He has helped thousands of organisations with consulting, implementing and evolution of leading product teams developing software solutions. Throughout the changes of ownership, from the original Exchequer business to IRIS and then Advanced, Paul continued as one of the few constants for Exchequer offering until his departure in 2016.

Ed Gairdner
COO
Formerly an Army Officer until a Medical Discharge in 2008, he has subsequently operated as COO within SaaS and MarketPlace businesses navigating the path to manage and overcome scale-up challenges.
Ed has a particular focus on people, process, and governance operating with a ‘hands-on’ approach and leadership style. Working closely with CEOs and boards he has been key to balancing entrepreneurial vision with risk-based decisions to overcome obstacles and move organisations into increased growth.

Matt Woolf
Non Executive Director
An Oil futures trader from 2001 working at ABN Ambro, ADM commodities and Fortis Bank, forming his own oil trading company, Dusell Trading Limited in 2006. The success of this venture, during the subsequent decade, enabled Matt to transition into a Non-Exec, Mentor and early stage investor for a wide range of high-growth tech investments ranging from Cyber security to Finance.
Also a keen sportsmen, currently trying to maintain playing off scratch at various memberships including Loch Lomond and Beaverbrook.
