With over 7,500 AccountingWEB members voting for their preferred systems across several financial categories, iplicit secured more than a third of the votes when it came to customer satisfaction with ERP software.
Up against Oracle, NetSuite, Greentree, Sage, AccountsIQ and Xledger, iplicit’s mid-market cloud-native proposition retained the accolade, and its position as a market disruptor, from readers selecting their top 10 software products for 2022.
While the mid-market has been underserved for several years, demand is clearly building. This is especially true among organisations that require more comprehensive functionality and capability than entry-level systems such as Xero and QuickBooks, but where budgets don’t stretch – nor do they want the complexity – of enterprise-level tools which include NetSuite and Oracle.
In addition, many organisations that have maintained on-premise finance solutions such as Sage, Access, Pegasus and Advance, are finding themselves under increasing pressure to move towards a cost-effective true cloud system because they require seamless integration and high-speed/highly secure remote working access.
Identifying a significant gap, iplicit’s entry-level ERP service provides sophisticated software features and a price-point afforded by companies with 30-300 staff. It makes things simpler for organisations – the solution has been built to enable rapid implementation with many customers being completely up and running in under 15 days. This includes 100% data migration and the training required to use the system.
Over 5,000 live users from more than 350 organisations have already implemented iplicit’s technology – from industries such as accountancy, not-for-profit, recruitment, and education. Clients include Oxford Brookes Union and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.
And iplicit continues to grow at pace, with current run rates forecast for an additional 10,000 users being added in the next 12 months alone.
With everything in one place – including approval workflows, unlimited customisable reporting, multi-legal entity options, stock and inventory management, and much more – iplicit modernises systems and provides the capability for all stakeholders to get key information swiftly.
Commenting on the award win, CEO Rob Steele notes: “This award is particularly special to us for several reasons. Firstly, it’s voted for by the users of the multitude of software solutions in the market today, and we’re proud to build everything around customer-centricity.
“Secondly, we set out to disrupt the market and challenge the ‘old guard’ and I think the results suggest that we’re on the right track. For too long, customers have been held hostage by on-premise technology that’s lagging behind, is far too restrictive and unreasonably expensive.
“The harsh reality was, until recently, the choice was to either to put up with your old system or engage with a prohibitively expensive ERP solution. iplicit’s entry-level ERP has changed that for good.”
Rob added: “This AccountingWEB award is testament to our team’s hard work and dedication to ensuring that medium-sized organisations globally, have a cloud-native solution that’s both tailored for their requirements and affordable. We’re thankful to everyone who voted for us.”
