Another forward-thinking charity has gone live with iplicit’s cloud accounting software – welcome Al-Khair Foundation (AKF).

A UK-based international Muslim aid non-governmental organisation (NGO), AKF is the third-largest Muslim charity in the UK and delivers aid to the poor and vulnerable, as well as education for the Muslim community.

It specialises in humanitarian support, international development, emergency aid and disaster relief in some of the world’s most deprived areas. As well as an aid delivery footprint spanning 74 countries, AKF has also alleviated the suffering of over 50 million beneficiaries. Issues the team continues to tackle include unemployment, education, women’s empowerment, and domestic violence.

The driving factors for iplicit’s selection included the overall flexibility and enhanced levels of reporting, multi-jurisdictional tax capabilities, seamless integration path, the ability to support multi-legal entities and currencies, and our ‘must-have’ approval workflows.

Commenting on the new client partnership, Paul Sparkes, commercial director for iplicit, said: “AKF is all about being open, honest and clear – which is exactly the type of organisation iplicit not only prides itself on being, but working with too.

“This is another exciting collaboration project with a progressive NGO that truly makes a difference. And in terms of iplicit, the not-for-profit sector is an area we’re incredibly familiar with. We’ve implemented hundreds of not-for-profit finance solutions over the past three decades, many of whom are now upgrading to our cloud native platform.”
